ABOUT ME
Hi there!
The ability to influence people’s emotions and behaviours using the built environment has always fascinated me. I want to be part of that process, to learn and apply strategies that transform peoples’ lives. There is something so fulfilling about creating things for a user’s needs, and I thrive off that feeling. Following a principle by Confucianism — to live well, one must understand how things really are, how the world is ordered, before you can make order — I have recently decided to push myself out of my comfort zone by participating in a larger variety of events and trying new hobbies separate from school commitments.
My journey in design started when I enrolled in iDesign Club in primary school. I then went on to take Design Studies in secondary school before entering Ngee Ann Polytechnic. Taking architecture in Ngee Ann Polytechnic has opened my eyes to the ideation and conceptualisation process of the industry. It has also surrounded me with equally passionate students who have inspired and guided my journey as well.

MY LOGO
The letter "J" represents my name, Jynn. This name is used by all my relatives and hence, it symbolises the close relationships I have with my family, especially my cousins.
The "blob" flying out from the letter is meant to represent the creativity and the passion for art that flows through me. It was also designed to look similar to wings, symbolising the freedom I feel when I am designing and creating new concepts. The colours are some of my favourite colours that gives me a sense of serenity with the transitioning gradients.
